Bangkok, 21 November 2013 (NNT) – Leader of the “We Love Udon” group Kwanchai Salakum has led over 200 red shirt supporters to the Udon Thani police station to press charge against Suthep Thaugsuban.

According to the police, the charges against Mr. Suthep are in accordance with Article 114 of the criminal code, which is treason. Over 100 red shirts also pressed charges against Mr. Suthep on the same day.

Mr. Kwanchai said he was very uncomfortable over the fact that Mr. Suthep had been carrying out such demonstrations, with an aim to topple the government.
