An Australian national was drugged and robbed by a woman he had met on Walking Street and slept for 24 hours before realizing he had been the victim of a robbery.

Tourist Police were called to room number 338 at the Diamond Beach Hotel just off Walking Street, occupied by Mr. Yasin Sharif aged 63 of Iraqi origin but holder of an Australian passport. He was in a semi-conscious state and was unable to explain what had happened.
