NARATHIWAT, Dec 3 – One man on Saturday was shot dead by suspected insurgents while riding a motorcycle in Rangae district of violence-plagued Narathiwat, according to local police.

The victim was identified as Preecha Tangsee, 62, a Rangae resident, Pol Capt Noraseth Suksee of Rangae Police Station said, adding that Mr Preecha’s body, still wearing a helmet, was found dead in a pool of blood next to the overturned vehicle.
