Two Buddhist vendors killed in Pattani

Pattani – Two Buddhist vendors were shot dead on a road in this southern border province Friday, police said.

Mongkol Jaikla, 30, and his father, Watana Jaikla, 56, were ambushed by gunmen on a remote road in Sai Buri district at 12:10 pm.

The two, residents from Nakhon Ratchasima, were driving their pick-up trucks to sell mattresses and pillows in villages.
