The Jet Ski Scam that has plagued beach cities in Thailand for years may have been resolved in Pattaya thanks to the Pattaya mayor and his team.

Pattaya Mayor Itthipol Kunplome ordered his administrative team, including the local prosecutor, to sit down with all Pattaya jet ski and boat operators to resolve the jet ski scams which have received worldwide attention from documentaries like the British program “Big Trouble in Thailand”, which exposed corruption in jet ski rentals in Phuket and Pattaya.
