Indian detained in Thailand for carrying 20kg ketamine

An Indian national has been detained by Thai customs officials for allegedly smuggling 20 kg of ketamine, a party drug, worth at least USD two million. The man, identified as Khadher Mohideen Sherif Khaja Mohhdeen, was arrested on arrival at Thai capital’s Suvarnabhumi Airport with the banned substance, customs officials said.

Mohideen, 44, flew in from Mumbai and was in transit to connect another flight to beach resort island of Krabi.
