Missing guns stolen from Thai Army base recovered

Some of the weapons found to be missing from an army arsenal in Prachuap Khiri Khan province have been recovered, an army source said on Friday.

The source said that on Thursday night, Capt Apiwat Saengsoong, a company commander of the 1st Infantry Battalion of the army’s Infantry Centre filed a complaint with Pran Buri district police that a number of weapons were missing from the battalion arsenal.

The officer was acting on an order from Lt-Col Manorot Suthisamdaeng, the new commander of the 1st Infantry Battalion.
