Murder suspect Stuart Scott Crawford to be flown back from Thailand
A man wanted in connection with the murder of his landlord is to be extradited from Thailand to Britain to face charges.
Police want to question Stuart Scott Crawford, 44, over the death of Michael Ryan. The 67-year-old’s body was found at the pair’s home in Sutton on September 10, 2008, but it is thought he had been dead for a number of days.
The corpse had been rolled in a carpet and pushed under a bookcase. A post-mortem examination found Mr Ryan died after a heavy blow to the head from a blunt instrument.
