Two Policeman Killed, Several Wounded In Gun, Grenade Attacks In Thailand
(RTTNews) – Derailing a government reconciliation plan to end a two-month long anti-government protest, violence is continuing in Thailand. Media reported Saturday that two Thai policemen were killed and about 13 people were wounded in gun and grenade attacks in Bangkok near an anti-government protest site.
Citing police officials, sources said that the first policeman was killed by a drive-by shooting by a gunman on a motorcycle, and the second in a series of grenade blasts.
