Eyewitnesses reported that the Arab-looking tourists, believed to be from Europe, became aggressive after excessive drinking, shouting insults and shoving locals. The situation escalated into a full-blown brawl, with the tourists ultimately overpowered. Security and police intervened, but not before the instigators lay sprawled on the ground. Medics treated them at the scene before they were taken to a nearby hospital.
The foreign tourist allegedly harassed a female employee and at one point poured beer over the head of a bouncer, according to local media reports.

The incident has reignited discussions about tourist conduct in Thailand, with many locals and expats expressing frustration over entitled or disrespectful behavior. “Why come to our country if you’re going to act like this?” said one Thai vendor. “Tourists should respect Thai culture, not start fights.”
Pattaya police are investigating the incident, but initial reports suggest alcohol and cultural insensitivity played major roles. Authorities remind visitors that Thailand welcomes tourists—but expects them to abide by local norms.
