Prime Minister Paetongtarn outlined key initiatives to address urgent environmental and infrastructure challenges. Water management remains a top priority, with plans to tackle flooding and drought through public-private collaborations for canal dredging and large-scale floodway projects. Additionally, the government is focused on reducing air pollution, setting targets to lower PM 2.5 levels annually. Efforts include stricter anti-burning laws, negotiations to curb transboundary haze, and the introduction of the Clean Air Act.

The government is committed to reducing costs for citizens by dismantling monopolies in key sectors like agriculture and energy.
