Thai Government Warns of Heavy Rains and Potential Flooding in Thailand from June 15-19

On June 14th, 2024, Deputy Government Spokesman Karom Phonphonklang warned the public to exercise caution due to the weather conditions from June 15th to the 19th.

Pattaya Floods Cause Partial Road Collapse on Third Road

Karom publicly stated that the monsoon trough passing over the upper northern and northeastern regions into a low-pressure area over northern Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin, combined with a strengthening southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand, will cause increased rainfall and heavy rains in some areas, especially in the eastern region.
