Worldwide outage of Instagram, Threads and Facebook: users can’t access the apps

The Meta apps Instagram, Threads and Facebook are experiencing problems globally and millions of users are unable to access both social networks since approximately 10:30 a.m. ET this Tuesday.

Facebook’s Instagram and Threads services, as well as Messenger messaging, have begun experiencing problems preventing users from accessing the platforms normally.

The Down Detector application, which records page crashes globally, has stated that “user reports indicate problems” with these applications.

Problems with login, loading of content and the web page itself are the main problems detected in Meta’s platforms. In the case of the mobile version, users even find that when they try to log in, they are directly kicked out of the apps.
