Laem Chabang Port is located in Si Racha and Banglamung, Chonburi province, around 25 kilometres north of Pattaya city and 130 kilometers south of the capital Bangkok.

Laem Chabang is the largest port in Thailand as well as the 23rd busiest container port in the world.

Development of the port started in 1988, the container port was completed in 1991.

Laem Chabang is also well known for its world class golf courses, such as the Laem Chabang International Country Club.
