New homes built for flood victims in Nakhon Si Thammarat

BANGKOK, 1 February 2017 (NNT) – A rehabilitation process is now underway in the South of Thailand, as people begin returning to their homes.

In Nakhon Si Thammarat province, a local resident of Lan Ka district, Krajang Phantu, received a new home after his previous house was destroyed in the flood. It is now being built under a joint effort between provincial authorities and other relevant agencies.

His home was among 98 others in 11 districts destroyed by the deluge. Krajang has been staying with his relatives and was grateful for the help he received.
