Foreign tourist slips on rocks, drowns on Phuket

PHUKET — A foreign tourist of unknown nationality died after slipping on rocks and being swept into the sea on Kata Beach in Muang district.

Witnesses said the unidentified tourist aged between 50 and 60 was taking a stroll along the rocky coastline when he accidentally collapsed and waves swept him out to sea at about 4pm.
