BANGKOK, 28 November 2016 (NNT) – The Deputy Prime Minister for Security Affairs has voiced confidence the nation’s political transition will be smooth and affirmed the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) will hold to the Road Map for national development.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Gen Prawit Wongsuwan has said he does not know if an upcoming Cabinet meeting will have any special topics but gave his opinion that the nation’s political transition will take place smoothly with the cooperation of the public. He assured the NCPO will continue to follow the national Road Map if no extraneous circumstances arise.
