Armed forces and state agencies hold activities to honor Their Majesties the King and Queen

BANGKOK, 10 August 2016 (NNT) – All of the armed forces and other state offices have organized activities to honor Their Majesties the King and Queen.

Royal Thai Army Commander Gen Theerachai Nakwanich chaired an ordainment for 85 monks and novices as part of the “Ordainment for the King and Queen” program organized to honor His Majesty the King on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of his accession and Her Majesty the Queen’s 84th birthday anniversary coming up this August 12. The new monks will undertake a course on dharma at Wat Rama 9 Kanchanaphisek until they leave the clergy on August 24.
