Arrest warrant out for redshirt leader Kwanchai Praipana

The Udon Thani Provincial Court today issued warrant for the arrest of a former active redshirt core leader Kwanchai Praipana after he did not show up to hear the final ruling in the case which he was accused of leading a group of redshirt protesters to assault yellow shirt demonstrators at a rally in Udon Thani province in 2011.

Kwanchai was earlier sentenced to four years in prison with no suspension of prison term, and 350,000 baht fine for the charge by the Court of First Instance.
