AIS wins latest 4G auction

BANGKOK, 27 May 2016 (NNT) – Advanced Info Service (AIS) has been confirmed as the sole auction participant for the 900 Mhz 4G band with the first round price set at 75.654 billion baht.

In a new round of auctions for the 900 Mhz 4G frequency being organized by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) after Jas Mobile abandoned its license, Advanced Wireless Network Co. Ltd., a firm within the AIS group, has been named the sole auction participant.
