Release ex-MP, says Pheu Thai

PHEU THAI PARTY yesterday called for the quick release of former MP Worachai Hema, who was summoned by military officers on Saturday evening, following his comments that were allegedly critical of the junta leader.

On Thursday, Worachai called for Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, the leader of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), to take responsibility by resigning from the premier’s post if the charter draft is voted down in the upcoming referendum.
