Anti-coup protester acquitted on investigative flaw

The Pathumwan District Court acquitted an anti-coup protester on Thursday on grounds he was investigated by unauthorised officers.

The court threw out the case of Apichart Pongsawath after ruling that that the Crime Suppression Division had no authority to handle this criminal case when it was under the jurisdiction of Pathumwan police station.
