Forest encroachment in Nakhon Sri Thammarat widespread

NAKHON SI THAMMARAT, 14 January 2016 (NNT) – The province of Nakhon Si Thammarat has launched a forest reclamation campaign in the Khao Luang Mountain Range.

Nakhon Sri Thammarat Governor Peerasak Hinmuangkao has led a team of soldiers, police officers and journalists to inspect the forest areas, particularly in Prom Khiri and Lansaka districts, after reports of encroachment.
