AIS subsidiary, Advanced Wireless Network and True Move H Universal Communications, a unit of True Move, won the two licenses on the 4G 1800 megahertz spectrum after the bidding ended Thursday night at the 86th round of bidding.

The two other bidders, DTAC Trinet, a subsidiary of Total Access Communications Plc and JAS Mobile Broadband, a subsidiary of Jasmine International missed out.
