A woman with history of mental illness jumped from the 16th floor of a Bangkok high-rise, but not until authorities arrived with an air mattress, preventing her death.

The unidentified 28-year-old Nonthaburi native sat on a window sill in her top-floor Lumpini Ville condominium on Sukhumvit Soi 77 for two hours before safely leaping to the cushion.
