Court acquits former minister Noppadon in Preah Vihear case

BANGKOK, 4 September 2015 (NNT) – The Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions has acquitted former Minister of Foreign Affairs Noppadon Patthama of malfeasance.

The National Anti-Corruption Commission in 2013 filed a lawsuit against Mr. Noppadon for having signed a communique with Cambodia to support Preah Vihear Temple in becoming a World Heritage site without consideration of the Thai parliament.
