Thai tourists warned to exercise caution during visit to Turkey

BANGKOK, 9 July 2015 (NNT) – Thai travelers to Turkey have been warned to avoid gatherings and to exercise extra caution during their visit, following an attack on the Thai embassy in Istanbul.

A mob has launched an attack on the embassy on Wednesday night over the Thai government’s decision to extradite Uighur asylum seekers to China. No one was injured in the attack.
