Thai police to regulate pubs near university campuses

The Royal Thai Police plans to seek cooperation from the Excise Department to regulate all entertainment venues, pubs, and liquor stores near the Dhurakij Pundit University after yesterday’s police raid found many have no licences to operate and sell liquor.

The raid was led by assistant police commissioner of the Royal Thai Police Pol Lt Gen Prawuthi Thavornsiri.
