Public should not panic on MERS rumours: DMH

NONTHABURI, 19 June 2015 (NNT) – The Department of Mental Health (DMH) has advised the public not to panic over the rumours of the discovery of a MERS patient in Thailand, noting that all healthcare centers are ready to provide consultation in stress relief.

The DMH Director-General Jedsada Chokdamrongsuk has advised the public not to panic over the discovery of a patient infected with the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) in Thailand, as the country’s disease prevention and monitoring system are considered world-class standards.
