Cabinet approves construction of 3 new motorways

BANGKOK, 11 April 2015 (NNT) – The cabinet has approved the proposed construction of three motorways to alleviate traffic problems.

Deputy Spokesperson of the PM Office Col Sansern Kaewkamnerd disclosed that the three highways would be built on the following routes. The first interstate, which covers 196 kilometers, starts from Bang Pa-In in Ayutthaya province and ends in Nakhon Ratchasima province via Saraburi province. The second motorway, with a length of 96 kilometers, starts from Bang Yai – Ban Pong route to Kanchanaburi. The third one, which covers a distance of 32 kilomters, begins from Pattaya to Map Ta Phut.
