Nine tourists rescued by Phuket Navy

PHUKET: Nine French tourists had to be rescued by the Thai Royal Navy Monday night (February 9) after the boat they were travelling on suffered engine failure in the sea off Koh Lanta.

At 6.45pm the Thai Royal Navy sent six rescuers on a speed boat after receiving a call to rescue the Lonan tour boat which had broken down.
