Security around Parliament tightened as Yingluck’s case comes to a close

BANGKOK, 22 January 2015 (NNT)-Security around the Parliament has been reinforced as the closing statement of the case against former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is now under way.

Troops of police officers can be seen keeping the areas in the vicinity of the Parliament under surveillance. Areas under their responsibilities include King Rama 5th Equestrian Monument, Uthong Nai road and Khattiyanee intersection.
