BMA plans to install over 11,000 more CCTV cameras around Bangkok

BANGKOK, 14 January 2015 (NNT) – Bangkok governor MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra revealed that the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has planned to install 11,546 more CCTV cameras around the capital within late 2016 to enhance the efficiency of public safety measures.

The plan was approved in today’s meeting of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council.
