Appeals Court dismisses Suthep’s petition to nullify arrest warrants

The Appeals Court today dismissed the petition of former People’s Democratic Reform Committee leader Suthep Thaugsuban to nullify arrest warrants for 18 protest leaders wanted for their encirclements of government offices during the anti- government protest rallies in 2013.

The warrants were sought from the Criminal Court by the Department of Special Investigation during the height of the protest last year.
