Thousands of supporters of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee are due to leave Bangkok tonight after their leaders agreed to call off their protests and to disperse.

Buses have been arranged by the National Peace-keeping Council to bring the anti-government protesters homes – many of them southerners and also many of them have been protesting for months.
