A Norwegian man who had had a heated argument with his girlfriend suffered minor injuries after threatening suicide by electrocution on Monday night.

Immediately after the argument in a restaurant on Dongtan Beach, 37-year-old Per Lund had used a steak knife to self-harm before running up to the building’s second floor where he threatened to throw himself into an electrical transformer.
