Criminal Court drops petition to revoke arrest warrant for protest leaders

BANGKOK, Feb 27 – The Criminal Court on Thursday dismissed a petition seeking to revoke the arrest warrant for anti-government protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban and 19 others for violating the emergency decree.

The petition was submitted by Viroj Phumeesirisawat, a lawyer representing the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC), seeking a court order to revoke the arrest warrant for Mr Suthep and other 19 protest leaders.
