Thailand’s DSI expects to file 40 charges against Suthep Thaugsuban, protesters

BANGKOK, Dec 11 – The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) is expected to file about 40 charges against Thailand’s protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban and at least 20 accomplices, a senior official said today.

DSI chief Tarit Pengdit said Metropolitan Police have compiled 40 preliminary charges against the protesters, all of which will be discussed by the agency’s Special Case Committee next Tuesday.
