Sixteen countries have now warned their people on their travels to Thailand, the governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Mr Suraphon Svetasreni, said yesterday.

He said that he was informed of the warning to their people from the TAT representatives in these countries which were monitoring the situation in Thailand closely.
