Light aircraft skids off runway in Phitsanulok, no injuries reported

BANGKOK, 30 October 2013 (NNT) – A flight training aircraft has skidded off the runway at Phitsanulok Airport, causing an hour-long clearance operations. No injuries were reported.

A Piper aircraft belonging to the Royal Group Company slid out of the runway while trying to land at the provincial airport. According to airport officials, the incident was caused by the plane’s landing gear failure to function fully. There were 4 people, including the pilot, on the plane.
