Continued overnight rain in Bangkok fills roads with water

BANGKOK, Oct 4 – Continued overnight rain in Bangkok has filled some roads with water but major roads were free of flood as traffic was snarled in Ratchadapisek, Ramintra, Phahonyothin roads.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Adminstration’s Department of Drainage and Sewerage said that the average rainfall in Bangkok overnight was at 40-50 millimetres while Watthana was recorded at 65.5 millimetres of rain, the highest in the capital.
