With 10 trains cancelled on the route from Bangkok to Thailand’s south, officials at Songkhla’s Hat Yai Train Station took the opportunity of a quiet Wednesday to organise a “Big Cleaning Day” event to clean and maintain all trains so that they are ready to operate as soon as service resumes.
