Bangkok protests: Police close 5 more roads

BANGKOK, 5 August 2013 (NNT) – Following the closure of 5 additional roads for security purposes, the Metropolitan Police Bureau will be facilitating Bangkok traffic for the convenience of commuters.

According to the Bureau, five additional roads will be closed to traffic. The closed sections are between the following intersections: Rajchavithi and Karn Ruen, Kathiyani and Rajchavithi, Uthong Nai and Praroob intersection, Panit and Wangdang, Makkawan and Miksakawan. The announcement came after the planned movement by the demonstrators to visit foreign embassies, which was revealed early today.
