Two members of Satun’s Sakai ethnic minority have died of typhoid and three others are in a serious condition, deputy governor Utarn Pichyaporn said yesterday.

Utarn said 50 other members of the minority living in Satun’s Thung Wa district had been asked not to move, to prevent the disease of spreading.
