Four hurt in US helicopter emergency landing during Cobra Gold

BANGKOK, Feb 20 – A US military helicopter taking part in the joint military drills codenamed Cobra Gold 2013 made an emergency landing in Thailand’s Phitsanulok province Wednesday, with four crew members being injured.

The Thai Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal Prachin Chantong said he was informed of the emergency landing of the CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter carrying US personnel taking part in the joint military drills after the chopper was earlier reported missing during the military exercise.
