Rare water onion zone found in Southern Thailand
RANONG, Jan 8 – A new area of one kilometre radius in this southern province has been discovered with a healthy ecosystem providing a home to the rare water onions.
Found in just two provinces in Thailand — Phangnga and Ranong — were formerly extremely important geographical sites where water onions were commonly found.
