A renovated Bangkok Siam Center now opened to public

BANGKOK, 10 January 2013 (NNT) – After spending over 100 million baht on its renovation project, Siam Piwat, the operator of Siam Center, has finally unveiled the “Ideaopolis Siam Center”.

Siam Center is now ready to welcome the public after it has been renovated. According to Siam Piwat Vice President Mayuree Chaipromprasith, it is a genuinely modernized retail center and will be promoted as a landmark of Asia for artists and designers in all areas.

Artworks of Thai famous artists are being showcased on the Center’s first floor, which has been named “Idea Avenue”. The highlight of the event is “World Class Art Exhibition”, featuring the works of legendary American artist Andy Warhol; which include 6 of his paintings created under the theme of “Silver Factor”. The Vice President said this is the first time Thailand has ever created a simulation of Andy Warhol’s work environment.
