Storm, flash floods hit Thailand’s southern provinces

NAKHON SI THAMMARAT, Dec 23 – A storm and flash flood hit two southern provinces as the meteorological department warned of heavy rain in the South in the next few days.

In Nakhon Si Thammarat, two villages were hit by a storm while rainfall continues with threat of floods. At least 50 houses were damaged and a number of trees were felled. No one was reported injured.
