Ratchaburi flooded by overflow from Mae Klong River
RATCHABURI, Oct 11 — Residents of San Khu and Ban Tha Sao in Ratchaburi municipality rushed to move necessities and valuables to higher ground after the waters of the Mae Klong River overflowed to flood their communities.
The rising level of the Mae Klong River was due to the discharge from Tha Muang Dam in Kanchanaburi to reduce the volume of water behind the dam.
