Thailand expects 21 million foreign tourists this year

BANGKOK, Sept 18 — The flow of foreign visitors into Thailand could reach 21 million this year if the political atmosphere remains stable and there are no news reports of terrorist threats, according to a senior official of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

Permanent Secretary Ministry of Tourism and Sports Suwat Sidthilaw said that overall the tourism industry in 2012 has bright prospects.
